Annual Conference
The Annual Conference is convened toward the end of May, and each year is held in a different city across the country. The conference is an ideal opportunity for researchers, educators and industry people to network with CRCA members while gaining valuable insights regarding the nature of cooperative research ventures.
The 2012 conference will be held at the National Wine Centre in Adelaide
from 15–17 May.

Entries are now open for the Inaugural Australian Collaborative Innovation Awards to be presented at a gala dinner at the National Wine Centre in Adelaide on 16 May, in conjunction with the Collaborate | Innovate | 2012 meeting.
Entries can be submitted online.
Entries are also open for the Showcasing Early Career Researchers 2012.
Awards for Excellence in Innovation: 2011 Winners
The CRC for National Plant Biosecurity won an award for the development of technology to rapidly identify and respond to exotic pests and pathogens.
The Vision CRC was recognised for new spectacle and contact lens technology to control the progression of myopia (short-sightedness) in children.
CRCMining received an award for inventing a comprehensive system for monitoring and managing the issue of fatigue across entire mine sites.
The Invasive Animals CRC won an award for tackling the rabbit problem through innovative community partnerships involving rabbit research, education and training.
Showcasing Early Career Researchers: 2011 Winners
Dr Elena Toh from the Oral Health CRC was the Showcasing Early Career Researchers winner in the Research Presentation category (10 minute presentation)
Ms Parama Banerjee from the CAST CRC was the Showcasing Early Career Researchers winner in the Three Minute Thesis category.
